Hi there! I’m Audrey, the woman behind the pots—and I’m so glad you’re here.
Like many artists, my journey with clay hasn’t been a straight line. It’s been a winding, wonderful path shaped by creativity, resilience, and a whole lot of heart.
As the youngest of four, I was always inspired by my siblings’ artistic pursuits. Their projects sparked my imagination early on, and I found my way into a high school with a strong fine arts program. I knew pretty quickly that I had found my calling. That passion led me to earn a BFA in Ceramics, fully immersing myself in the world of clay.
But life had other plans. When I graduated, the 2008 economic downturn made it difficult to pursue a full-time career in the arts. So, I did what many of us do—I adapted. I turned first to the restaurant industry, which became an unexpected blessing. Not only did it support me during a time of transition, but it’s also where I met my wonderful husband—a connection that changed everything.
Eventually, I made another pivot, this time into construction. The work was hands-on and practical, and it gave me something precious: flexibility. That flexibility allowed me to slowly begin rekindling my relationship with clay.
A move from Knoxville to Utah marked the start of a new chapter. I found a pottery studio that welcomed me with open arms, and I spent two beautiful, creatively rich years throwing, sculpting, and falling back in love with the process. It felt like coming home.
When we returned to Knoxville, life shifted once again. I started a family and found a new passion in real estate, where I now help others find homes of their own. It’s meaningful work, and I cherish the connections I get to build every day.
And yet—clay has always called me back. After a few years away from the wheel, I’m overjoyed to be creating again. While pottery is no longer my full-time job, it remains a full-hearted part of who I am. Each piece is made with intention, with gratitude, and with the story of every twist and turn that brought me back to the mud.
Thank you for being here—for supporting handmade, for valuing art that’s imperfectly personal, and for allowing me to share this journey with you.
